Background

How Lucy works

Lucy Whitaker is the broker behind Sunkey Realty LLC, a Florida brokerage built on one simple idea: nobody should be handed listings before someone asks what they are actually trying to accomplish.

She works across the state — Miami and the Keys, Naples and Sarasota, Orlando and Tampa, Jacksonville and the Panhandle — representing both buyers and sellers. Families relocating from out of state are a specialty, but so are long-time Floridians trading up, downsizing or selling an investment property.

Alongside the Florida residential practice, Lucy leads Sunkey's Colombia commercial division, focused on medical office space and consulting suites.

With more than a decade in real estate, her background spans residential sales, investor representation and cross-border commercial transactions, with a working knowledge of the licensing, financing and tax questions that come with buying in a new state or a new country.
